Kacey Musgraves has joined with REVERB, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2004 by environmentalist Lauren Sullivan and her musician husband, Adam Gardner of Guster. REVERB creates and executes comprehensive, custom programs to green the tour itself while engaging concertgoers to take action for the environment.
During Kacey’s Winter/Spring 2016 tour this group has partnered with Defend Our Future to engage fans and encourage them to take action on climate change at each show. They will also be joined by Nalgene with custom Kacey Musgraves reusable water bottles to help eliminate single-use plastic waste. In order to be a part of it, volunteers will join the group an hour before doors to the venue open and work until just before Kacey takes the stage. Volunteers get to see the show in exchange for their hard work and will receive a tour t-shirt to wear while volunteering and to take home after the show.
