Do you remember a few years ago, when you were just beginning to hear about some of today’s hottest artists like Koe Wetzel and Parker McCollum? Well, if you haven’t heard of him already, then this is the day you heard about the next big thing: Chris Colston. Chris has been making waves recently, playing shows with Koe, including one a week ago at College Station, the night he released his new single, “Gone,” which is already racing up the chart.
“Gone” is available for streaming or download in all the usual places, but beware…you are going to want to hear it over and over again! Check it out on Spotify below.
His full EP, to be released March 2nd, was recorded at the famous KSIJ Studio in Gladewater by Mauldin Productions. The historic studio once hosted artists like Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley as a radio station in the 1950’s.
If you’d like to catch Chris live, he has two shows this week with Koe Wetzel. They’re playing tonight in Nacogdoches at Banita Creek Hall, and tomorrow night at Coach’s and Cowboy’s in Tyler. You can find more dates and information about Chris on his website at www.chriscolstonmusic.com/shows.html.
