There’s a new “Don’t Mess with Texas” anti-littering campaign ad and this time it features Willie Nelson‘s son, Lukas.
Who remembers Willie’s original ad? We do! Willie first recorded his ad in 1989, singing a little ditty inspired by “Mammas, Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys.” The ad campaign was started in 1986 by the Texas Department of Transportation as a way to combat the rampant littering on Texas highways and lots of celebs have been a part of the campaign including Kevin Fowler, Matthew McConaughey and George Strait.
