Time For a Change

Twenty five years ago if you had told me I would be working in the music business for a majority of my working life, I would have told you that you were crazy.

But it turned out to be true and the most amazing time of my life!  I have loved being involved in one way or another.  From being on the radio to currently working with some of my most favorite artists!  And of course, starting this blog 4 years ago has been fun, too!  But, now it’s time for a change.

A couple of months ago I was offered a job in the education world that offered way too much money for my family to pass up.  And as my life has changed and gotten a whole lot busier, I’ve made the decision to stop posting to this blog.  There’s just not enough time or money to give it the attention it needs.  However, the Facebook page for Key Music News will stay active as I will post random Texas / Red Dirt music news to it.

I’d like to say thank you to my friend Kris Green!  Kris has been a big help writing great articles over the years and needless to say I am super appreciative of her and her time!  I also want to say thank you to all those who have been regularly reading the blog.  We appreciate you!

It’s not goodbye to the music world … I am super happy that I am still a part of Conveyor Management working with Cory Morrow, Kyle Hutton and Market Junction.  Change is good!
